Impact of the national accelerated Covid-19 booster programme

Before Christmas we made temporary changes to allow staff to redeploy to support the booster vaccination programme.

Routine referrals for our specialist, physiotherapy and pelvic health services have now reopened following the pause. You can also once again refer yourself for physiotherapy using our portal (details below).

All referrals will be clinically triaged (assessed/managed if urgent/emergency); passed through to colleagues in hospital if this is the appropriate clinical pathway; or added to our routine wait list.
However, waits will be lengthy due to reduced staffing and continued redeployment to support our colleagues in neighbouring organisations.

Our phone lines will be reopen tomorrow from 8am until 4.30pm.

In the meantime, you may like to explore the advice and leaflets section of our website as many problems improve with suitable advice and exercise.

Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this period.
