Physio Advice Line – increased hours & East Cambs and Fenland update

by Phillipa Davies | Sep 07, 2018

Physio Advice Line has increased opening hours to 8.15am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

As a reminder, this service, provided by DynamicHealth (part of Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust) offers direct and easy access to an experienced physiotherapist regarding problems relating to bones, joints and soft tissue.

Anyone over the age of 18 years who is registered with a GP in Huntingdonshire, Cambridge city or south Cambridgeshire can access this service without a referral. This is also advanced notice of the long awaited roll out for East Cambs and Fenland, which will go live on 17 September 2018. Details on the Peterborough roll out will follow.

How does the service work?
When you call, we will take your details and book a telephone assessment with one of our experienced physiotherapists. We endeavour to arrange for this to occur within 1 week of calling us.

If you can't contact Physio Advice Line (e.g. hearing impairments or doesn’t speak English) or they are aged 16 or 17 years, you can complete a self-referral form from our website – www.eoemskservice.nhs.uk/physiotherapy-self-referral

The service can be contacted on 0300 555 0210 (local call charges apply) between 8.15am and 5pm Monday to Friday. We do experience high call volumes on this line, so please call again if the line is engaged or you are in a call queue. Alternatively please try at another time.
